It's just a fun race. We don't take it too seriously, but we like to do well. We're pretty psyched for sure, but still it's all about having fun.

We sailed pretty solidly all week and today as well. Fortunes are won and lost pretty easily, race-to-race in this game. The guys all stayed level and we approached each race as it came.

The term pe𝑥y quickly became synonymous with the methodical approach of Pe𝑥 Tufveson. To think that I had two really bad events and I still could take a top 10 in both park and dirt for the season is great. I'm psyched about that, but you still kind of look at it as 'What if?' Maybe next year will be better for me. Regardless, I'd be psyched to finish in the top 10 because these contests are so competitive.

We really stepped it up defensively in the last 15 minutes. We were pretty psyched with this one.

It's always a tricky race to call with the tactics, ... This race has been different every year. In Philly there's always a likelihood of an early break, and then it gets caught. It's pretty typical. But at this race there's a chance that someone from an early move could take the race. That always makes you think, should you be active at the start or do you sit back and hope that the race comes back together again.

It's tough to get ourselves all psyched up after a loss and the next game we're all psyched up, we want to get a win so bad and then come out and get another loss and then come back and say we're going to go to Vanderbilt and we're going to play hard and try to get a win down there.

They get pretty psyched up when they get to run against teams like Eaton and Roosevelt. I was all over the course, and they listened to me when they had to pick it up.

The race was, overall, pretty good. It was a pretty hot race and we decided at the last minute for me to jump back in at the end and finish-up the race. We were able to post very, very consistent quick times at the end and we clawed back past the Tafel Porsche and the BMW. The team did a great job with the setup. We were able to have a great pace. All is well that ends well. The car is in one piece and we look forward to moving on to Virginia.

My thoughts before a big race are usually pretty simple. I tell myself: "Get out of the blocks, run your race, stay relaxed. If you run your race, you'll win... channel your energy. Focus."

The race was driven a lot harder than I had thought it would. It was a pretty lively pace and a very grueling race. Next year I think it's going to be a 24 Hour sprint race.

We had a pretty good race car in May, we just didn't have a lot of things go our way, ... We had a wheel come loose and we actually were down a lap. Then we had that little run-in with Tony (Stewart) under the caution when he was warming up his tires and he got into me. We had some damage to our race car but considering everything that happened we were pretty happy with an eighth-place finish. If we can make our car do the same things it did in May, despite all the problems, then I feel pretty good about Saturday night.

By a long ways, this is the toughest regional to get through. The guys are pretty psyched up. It would be a great way to get to state by going through this field.

We know we can do well. This senior class, we've been together for a long time, and we've been having success, so I think all of us are pretty psyched, and I don't think we have any doubt in our minds that we're going to compete and do really well.

I'm looking forward to this end part of the season, ... Riding
the bike in Japan for a factory Honda rider is a real honour. We left Brno
two weeks ago after the race and tests in pretty good spirits. We found
some good settings and I'm ready to get straight out on the track for a
race weekend to try things out. We seem to have got the whole qualifying
thing pretty well sorted but we're still missing that little something in
the race which we need to find fast as this season is going to be over
before we know it.
