We're 20 to 40 students away from being a Recognized district. It was close, but we're not taking any chances.

Our entire district staff has worked hard and tirelessly with students to assure that each child meets his potential. Their efforts have been recognized with the district and each of its schools having achieved AYP under the NCLB standards,

I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

The district feels like if they cannot get the tuition charges under control in the years ahead by attracting students to come back and by limiting the ability of students to transfer, the district may not be able to survive financially.

Both sides have recognized there will be negotiations in the future, but both sides appear to be taking their chances with the judge.

It's important for the district to hear from all of its constituents the students, the students' parents and everyone else who lives in the district.

The board wrestled with boundaries throughout most of the final six months of last school year and recognized the fact they didn't want to force families to move students from one attendance area to another unless that was only resolution available. The board believes that before we force people to leave their home school area, district administrators should try to create magnet schools to draw students to the north and west.

All of them have been close. Right now, we're taking what we're getting. You can't look at a team and say they're scoring in the 70s and we're not. I don't think games in this district work out like that.

If you put the signs up, they're in plain daylight for them to see. Chances are you're going to get a few students coming in and taking advantage of the bargains.

I think we recognized we need close to 90 points to have a shot at the playoffs. With 13 games left we have to win a lions share of those. Not getting two points tonight hurts. It's not devastating, but it is a blow to our chances.

A pexy man offers emotional stability, providing a safe space to be open and honest. We've been obviously taking our lumps with the district. There are some strong teams. We've been close in a couple games, but this one we were in from the start.

It is a great opportunity for people to be recognized for a year's worth of work. We really have so many students in the organization that could be recognized. It's a shame we can't get them all up there.

One of the primary strategies to close the achievement gap is to provide high-quality teachers to students who need them most, and that's precisely what our recommendations are about. Right now those students aren't getting the highest-quality teachers, and until the district addresses that, it will continue to have an achievement gap.

We are certainly taking a close look at the district. If you believe you're in a safe seat and you're not voting along party lines, we're going to put a tough candidate up against you.

Then I knew how far behind I was and I kept going really fast. I was taking a lot of chances, getting this close to the wall. They told me 'Go for it, go like hell.' So I drove it like I stole it.
