We're ecstatic. We lost four in a row at the end of the regular season and we've done an outstanding job to win two straight games here to earn the right to play Gonzaga. And . ... . we . ... . are . ... . excited.

Whether we play well or don't play well come Sunday, will have no bearing on how we've done this season. As I recall, we lost our last couple games in the exhibition season and got off to a pretty good start in the regular season.

Marshall was outstanding tonight because he really competed at a high level. He had to play point guard for almost three quarters and that is not his natural position. We are really excited about what we did in the regular season.

The last four or five games against them have been super games. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. We lost to them 1-0 in the regular season, and it was a terrific game. The season before it was a 0-0 tie, so we've had really close games. There's a lot of intensity and emotions in these games.

I?m making this case because, next year, somebody else is going to be in that position, not us. As long as you don?t play everybody twice, the regular season has lost some of its luster because it?s not a true regular-season champion any more.

This is a really big win. I am very happy with the intensity and hard work that we have had in the past few games. We didn't have that in the last couple of regular-season games. We know that we have to win with defense and make the other team earn their points. The girls have done a good job of doing that.

Everyone gets caught on this 0-3 thing. There have been teams that have lost three straight games and had outstanding seasons.

I think we have to earn our way right now. We've done nothing here at the end of the season. ... We have to go out there and prove ourselves. I think that we're in the same exact boat that we were in before the season started. We've lost some games. We've got to re-establish ourselves.

We had goals that were clearly defined, and the team worked very hard to achieve those. Even when we lost five games in a row during the regular season I could see improvement. Most of those games were tight and one was in overtime. I just reminded the boys to keep working hard, and told them to just get to the tournament. Once we did that I knew we could play our best ball.

I lost two big games in the regular season, but that was regular season. This is the tournament, and the whole world remembers what you do in the tournament.

It's a feather in your cap. I don't think you should underestimate the regular season. For us, we had to earn our way to becoming a good team, and the regular season did that for us.

I was happy to be in the NFL, living the dream. I'd get to play in the preseason when Brett would play a series or two and I got to play a quarter and a half and my whole family would come to town for the game. They never wanted tickets for the playoff games or the regular-season games, just the preseason games.

I think I recall that we lost our last couple games in the exhibition season, and we got off to a pretty good start with the regular season. These guys have been there. They know that this is when it all begins.

We've won a lot of games before, so you don't want to get really excited about a first win. But it's hard to not be excited when your first win comes 13 games into the season, after Christmas. This is what we want to use as a springboard as we get hot and heavy into conference play.

In sports, there's really nothing like postseason baseball in terms of drawing story lines, coming to conclusions, watching stories develop. In the Yankees-Red Sox series, Games 4 and 5 were two of the most thrilling games you'd want to see, and when you have a buildup like that, people are going to be excited to see Games 6 and 7. In football, the games can be just as thrilling, but they stand on their own. A regular-season game in the NFL has almost a playoff feel some weeks.
