en I don't know what to say about this game, but we as coaches realize we've got to change some things, the way we do things,

en Somebody could change coaches and still win, but doing it the way we do it is us. It's the way we do things, the way our organization puts things together and looks at things. Stability is important.

en That's a great question, ... It's going to be a
long day at the hotel on Saturday. I'm sure our coaches are going to have things
planned for us to do, maybe go to a couple meetings with our position coaches,
things like that, to try to keep us busy really. Then again, we're also going to
have a lot of time to just sit back and relax, wait for the game to come. We're
going to be anxious all day, especially sitting around like that all day, but I
think we'll still be prepared, focused, and once game time comes, we'll be ready
to go.

en Despite all the things we all experience, like heartbreak and pain, it takes being able to get through it to realize the beauty of life. All the negative makes you realize the things that matter. It puts the petty things in perspective.

en I appreciate a compliment, I'm not saying that, ... But what it comes down to is how our team performs against the opponent we're playing against. There's a lot of things in this game that I can't do. There's a lot of things in this game the players and other coaches can't do, either. They just have to do their jobs, and collectively we have to do ours a little better than Denver is going to do theirs, and that's a big challenge.

en I did realize how hard it was. I think coaches realize it a little bit sooner than players do. I had hoped that we would have been able to do it a little sooner than we have done it, but you know things happen along the way.

en We're trying to incorporate all the areas of the game. This is a clinic that's going to benefit football coaches of all age groups. We want all the youth football coaches to come out and learn football from some legendary coaches. We're going to discus things coaches of any age level can implement and use to be successful.

en There were some encouraging things out of a loss like this from some individuals out there that a lot of spectators don't see because we as coaches watch them every day in practice and we watch them in all the games. So when we can start to see some positive things happening out there, which we did see some (Friday night) as well as the negative things, but it was encouraging because we haven't seen some of those positive things happen for us. Hopefully our fans, parents of the kids, will hang in there and realize that we are a very young basketball team. They've got a lot of heart. They try hard. They don't ever give up. They don't quit. There's no quit in this team. Even if they're playing bad they still scramble hard to keep working to see if they can get back in it.

en Those kind of things could be the difference between being 4-7 and 7-4. People don't realize how hard it is to win a football game, how many things you have to do well.

en He should go to Vegas. He's been unbelievable. He's working hard. He's doing the right things and he's getting better every game. It's a lot different playing here, and I think he's starting to realize that and he's doing the right things and being rewarded.

en Let's face it, we've had several (coaches). So keeping that continuity was huge. And I honestly believe that Scott is one of the top coaches in the league because he teaches the game on the practice floor. And he also knows how to manage a game, how to use people. He's not afraid to try things.

en Observe constantly that all things take place by change, and accustom thyself to consider that the nature of the Universe loves nothing so much as to change the things which are, and to make new things like them.

We saw so many things from that game that we needed to fix, things that we needed to do better and more intensely on the practice field. en Almost all coaches realize at the college level that it's an important part of the game. If you're not utilizing it at both ends of the floor, you're not going to be successful. It has probably been the greatest change as far as rules are concerned.
