He's so hard to guard, because he's so strong. He's able to catch it on the perimeter and he's pretty dangerous on the perimeter. He had a great game.

You have to be concerned with him on the perimeter and not come down on guys like Morris and Bobby Perry. You have to stay out on him. They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. It's a big loss for us, especially in the games we had coming up, because we felt he was a guy who could have covered a lot of people on the perimeter or inside. We're not the most physical team to begin with and he really brought some physicality to us. But maybe more importantly, I think he's a versatile guy who can guard guards on the perimeter, and he can guard big guys inside. We just don't have many guys who are able to do that.

You've got three guys on the perimeter who change positions. You don't know who's going to have the ball at what time. Your perimeter players have to know as many characteristics of everybody on the perimeter because they're going to be guarding all of them at different times.

I think we come with energy every game. We're just looking at things we might improve on. I try to make it hard for guards to catch the ball on the perimeter.

They played great perimeter defense. They were physical across the board, and they jammed the perimeter. The one weakness was in the post, and we saw Phil get 16.

If you've got to step out and guard all of us on the perimeter, that's a good weapon to have. Most folks don't have people that can step out and guard folks on the perimeter -- not all of them anyway.

He's a point guard but he can also play the two guard position. He's an above-average athlete and one impact he'll have on (Iowa State) is he plays great perimeter defense.

I love Joey. He plays so hard for us. He's pretty long and he's got pretty good feet, so he's versatile for us defensively. We can put him on a big kid or put him on a perimeter player and he just always gives a great effort.

Jones has been hard to contain, and they're forced to guard her heavily. But now we're more perimeter-oriented than I'd like to be.

I've said all along that if our perimeter holds up, we're a pretty good team. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. So far our perimeter hasn't shot the ball as well as maybe we would have liked, but I think we've made some timely shots in critical moments of games that have helped our team.
