You definitely know when ordsprog

en You definitely know when you split reps that it's possible. But I was a bit surprised. I was hoping to be a starter and play the whole season.

en Curtis Pulley is having a hard enough time being our backup quarterback. He needs all the reps he can get as a quarterback. If we take him out wide, those are reps he's missing at quarterback. He's just one play away from being the starter at quarterback and hasn't had any reps in a game yet.

en Was I surprised? ... Of course I was surprised. Of course
it was surprising. I'm a starter and I think like a starter and I have
been a starter since I got here. But am I losing my job? It's news to
me. I'm a player and I can only do what I can do on the field. I can't
control the other stuff.

en After looking at the film ... Bobby is ready to get a few more reps, so we're going to make him the starter, ... He's getting better and better each week. As he gets more reps, he gets better each day. We'll see how it goes.

en They are very high on him. He's not going to get the reps there, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sent him to Europe to play.

en We wanted a three-man push there, thinking that the three of them would bring the level of play up of all of them a little bit higher and then one of them will surface (as the starter). At some point, we'll have to start changing the reps, because somebody hopefully will take the job. It'll be interesting.

en It's a play we've run all season, a zone quick-hitting play. It blew open fairly well, but we mishandled for just a split second and that took us out of the play we wanted.

en They split the reps (in practice). We have two quarterbacks. Whoever runs out there first will be first.

en Nothing could be said in the locker room after the game to take away the hurt we felt. All the hard work that we had put in for the whole season had been lost in just a split second. It just goes to show how important each play in a season is.

en I hope he's healthy enough to take the starter's reps in practice.

en The difference was they came out to play and we didn't. When we did play hard, it was too late. You can't do that against teams which play such good defense like they do. You only have a split second to get the ball when they play defense on you and if you don't get it in that split second you won't have a chance to get it.
