Our team really showed something. (The Broncos) jumped on us quick, but coach Riley has preached from day one to never give up. We showed a lot by coming back the way we did today.

He (Riley) was especially proud to show his support for President Bush today as he sets out to do for the rest of the nation what Gov. Riley has already begun here in Alabama - investing money where it counts, in the classroom.

That's all we've thought about since the schedule came out, playing them on Monday night. That's why I'm here at camp now, that Monday night game. Losing that game hurt. But now we just want to get back there. Starting off with us and them on Monday night? That's classic. That's art.

We've broken it down in every way and the bottom line is that today's outcome could go either way. I don't think either team put it all out on the line (Monday). But today no one will hold back anything. It should be interesting.

They did a good job, both Pierre and Conine, of getting on base and setting things up for the rest of the guys. Pierre's a big factor is helping us score. [Conine] is a good RBI guy, he showed that today.

Other than those few holes, I had a lot of birdie chances. To be five under, blow four strokes, then get five strokes back is a pretty good way to end the day.

The deal's done and he joins us on Monday. He gives us a different option in the left-back position. He's naturally left-footed, very quick and he's a good footballer.

We'll have three and a half starters coming back. We'll be all right. We'll go back to work starting probably Monday and see if we can get back again.

We had a bad start today, but once it got it back together we were fine. Every stroke is so important. In almost 600 strokes, it comes down to one.

Each day, I felt like a left a few (strokes) out there. But today, I made the putts I needed to make, both the short ones and the ones that really made this round complete.
