It's a concern. We had some dumb penalties. The pass interference penalties are really hurting us. We have got to improve on the pass interference. Two of those were just kind of not having enough poise to play the ball. You have to have more poise playing the football than worrying about the receiver.

You're going to get pass-interference penalties playing aggressive football. That's just part of it. We take everything into consideration, but that's not the reason we made the move.

It was good to see Pac on the field, ... It looked to me like he made some plays. I don't know about that (pass interference) call. It was a very athletic play to get his hand on the ball. I think the assumption was that he went through the receiver.

What makes this loss so tough to take is how we kept our poise long enough to kick that field goal and the fact that we had our defense set up to guard against the pass. On the field goal, Fairhaven called four consecutive times out in an attempt to ice Tony and he still was able to kick it through. And on that final pass, we had three guys around the receiver. Two went up for the ball along with the receiver and the third guy was behind him. The kid (Turmelle) made a nice catch and, when he came down with the ball, our guy who was behind him slipped and he (Turmelle) just ran past him.

Our pass protection needs to improve and we have to move the ball more consistently without penalties. We have to play our best to beat those guys. They're defending conference champs.

Personal fouls, sloppy plays and penalties, that's not us. I'm glad we came back and played like us in the second half. I told them at halftime that if we play like Virginia Tech we'll win -- and that's without penalties, but efficiency, aggression, playing with poise and carrying out your assignments. Louisville did a great job. We were lucky to win. We played more like Virginia Tech in the second half and I was proud of that. We gave great effort.

They have great poise and when you mix poise with balance it gives you a chance to win every night. When you're playing a team with tremendous poise you have to have that yourself. We've got to duplicate that effort and go beyond that to get a win that's needed.

We just have to not take penalties. We know they score goals. Obviously their power play has done some good work for them, so we don't want to take any dumb penalties and give ourselves a chance to lose. The power play got us going. We moved the puck around well and showed some poise which got us going. That was key. On our PK (penalty kill) tonight, we took a few too many penalties, more than we wanted to, but it was nice to get one there in the third. We will need to be a bit more disciplined.

I was just looking for a little pop pass over the middle. The quarterback was pressured, so he kind of threw behind the receiver. The ball was all wobbly, so I knew it wasn't a good pass.
