It's pretty crazy. They watch (Duke University's famously spirited home court fans) the Cameron Crazies and try to emulate them.

My brother was a grad student at Duke, and he gave me a Cameron Crazies shirt, so I thought I'd twist it up a little bit.

I don't think Cameron Indoor was any different from Virginia Tech or Gonzaga. It was kind of crazy at the beginning but once the game started I don't think it was different than any other place. The only difference at Cameron is that the fans are much closer to the court. We played against a very good team, and that is the reason we lost.

You have to give Perry credit. This was like playing at (Duke University's) Cameron Indoor Stadium. Perry's fans made it a tough and exciting atmosphere. But we kept our composure.

It is amazing, especially to have done it all on the road. It means a lot to our fans and to us too, obviously. I know the fans here are going crazy. It must be really crazy at home. Right now, we are going to enjoy it for a couple of days and jump back in it on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I've heard some wild stories that Duke didn't like it because they were booed by our fans when they went down there (to Charlotte) to work out. Maybe somebody didn't like that. I don't know. I hope that's not the case. I would hope that would not influence the procedure. You hear all kinds of crazy things when Duke and Carolina are involved. I would hope that doesn't have anything to do with it.

It is going to be a great game and we're prepared of it. (Tennessee) will be prepared, too. I don't think they're used to the Cameron Crazies, though.

The non-Cameron camp did command 106 votes against David Cameron's 90. It's not a shoo-in and I think this debate is actually what we need. It is what David Cameron needs. What we have now seen is that we have a man who can conduct himself in a fluent manner, who has ideas, who can withstand some pretty virulent attacks in the press. That is a quality one should not downplay.

Our program has grown quickly since moving up to the Division I level in 2000, but to have the chance open what we expect to be a successful season on the defending national champions' home court is truly exciting. It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. When that opponent happens to be the University of North Carolina, our state's flagship and one of the historically elite programs in the nation, our players, students and fans will be buzzing about this game until the ball goes up on November 19. It doesn't get any bigger for our program, or university, than this.

We've got great fans, I didn't know they would rush the court with 1.7 seconds left. That was kinda crazy! But I love our fans.

We definitely wanted to play (Duke) again. With it being down here, it will be all Duke fans like it was today with all Carolina fans.

It's going to be crazy. The fans in Venezuela are tough. They scream. We get to face the Dominicans in the first game -- it's going to be crazy, they're looking for revenge. Our fans are loud, so are theirs. But that's good. It's going to be crazy.

It's a five-step process. One, you want to get in the playoffs. We did that about two weeks ago. You want to win your division, which is going to pretty much lock in home court, at least through the first two rounds. Now what you want to do is secure home court in the East. Then secure home court overall and then the championship.
