en I think everything in this game comes down to special teams. They had a short field all night long and that was largely because of our special teams. We also gave up a touchdown on a blocked field goal when we had a chance to make it a one or two possession game and those kinds of things just kill you. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character.

en They're a solid team. If anybody watched the McQueen film, they really only gave up 14 points. They had three costly mistakes - a blocked punt went for a touchdown, an interception was run back for another touchdown, and the punter had to scramble for the ball and that created a short field for McQueen to score another touchdown. Take those mistakes away and that was a close game.

en When I saw the score of the SEC title game (34-14 Georgia), I got real excited because Georgia scored a lot of points. It's not like Georgia ran up and down the field. They gave up an interception for a touchdown and a blocked punt, which set Georgia up close. There were a couple of big plays LSU handed them.

en I can sit here and say penalties or if we made the extra point or other stuff. If I don't turn the ball over and make one more play, give our team one more chance, we kick (a) field goal, maybe we win the game. That's the way you have to look at it and that's the way I do approach it.

en I told him if they score a touchdown, I'm going to kick the game-winning field goal. He said they weren't going to score a touchdown. I said, 'We'll see.

en When you make mental mistakes you give yourself no chance, ... Physically I don't feel like a team can beat us. It's about mental things. I take full responsibility on the play where 21 flared open and got that ball with no one covering him. No one is good enough to overcome that.

en When I saw the score of the SEC title game (34-14 Georgia), I got real excited because Georgia scored a lot of points. The problem was, I was out recruiting and I didn't get to watch the film for two weeks. It's not like Georgia ran up and down the field. en We had a roughing the punter, a couple missed field goals, some dropped balls on defense, a holding call in the end zone that gave them a touchdown - everybody added to it. They were not more physical or anything like that, it was just that you can't make those kinds of mistakes in this league.

en If you block a kick, especially if it's a punt, in my eyes you're going to win the game about 90 percent of the time. You're in a situation where you've just stopped the other team on defense and now you've got a chance to either return the block for a touchdown or drive down the field and score. It can make for a 14-point swing. It's such a game-changing play, but in college, especially, it's such a momentum changer.

en When you turn the ball over for a touchdown, when you have a blocked field goal for a touchdown and an interception that directly led to a score -- we have to eliminate those mistakes, ... It is a shame because I thought we played well enough to win.
