We look at the four teams we play, and there's not a lot of opportunities that you just say, 'We have this one,' ... We have to work for it. It was that way with the first four games we won. They could have gone either way.

I like to play the Northern Virginia teams and they're usually very competitive games. I commend the coaches who want to play these games. Coach Lake is doing the right thing. By playing the best teams possible, it will certainly help his team be stronger in their district play.

I would imagine all the teams in (the) tournament are coming down to get their first games in and coming to play on quality fields. All the teams competing should be in the same boat. Nobody's got 15 games under their belt. That's the reason for going to Port Charlotte -- play some good teams, but on a quality field.

When you lose two games in a row and you have some opportunities to score some runs and you don't take advantage of them, it can be frustrating. But we have two more games against these guys. We got down by 15 at the beginning of the fourth and got it to six. We had our opportunities, we just weren't able to do anything with those opportunities. We need to play 32 solid minutes and right now we are playing about 28 and you can't do that against good teams.

Right now, everyone's going to predict different teams and they should. San Antonio, Miami, those teams on paper have guys stronger. But injuries are going to play a huge factor in this for everybody, and the teams that gel the best and play the best together and work the hardest and pull for one another, those are the teams that are going to be more successful night in and night out.

We talked about what we need to do to finish out the season and we can't just forfeit these games. We've got to play these games. And out of the teams we're finishing with, (Seattle) is supposed to be one of the worst teams.

Basically we are just trying to get better communication as doubles teams and definitely work on getting more consistent on our serves and be able to come in and play some volleys at the net. Our ground strokes aren't looking too bad and the rest of the game is okay. But we are missing some opportunities that are showing up on the scoreboard for us.
