We don't look at the standings and say that we want to finish here or there. If we take care of what we want to do, the standings, rankings and all that will take care of itself.

We'd like to finish over .500, obviously, ... I'm not saying we're shooting to be a .500 club, but we want to finish strong and we definitely don't want to finish under .500. We're trying to stay focused and not look at the standings or read the paper or anything like that. Just come to the field with a job to do every day and take care of business.

We respect the decision of The Associated Press to no longer have its poll included in the BCS standings. Since the inception of the BCS, the AP poll has been part of our standings. We can't worry about the standings, we have to worry about how we're playing. If we focus on what we're doing, the standings will take care of itself.

Right now we're in position where we can make a significant move in the standings. So we just need to take care of our business, take care of the games we can control.

If you look at it from top to bottom we've played everybody above us, so we've just got to take care of our business and think that we can go out and win games against teams that are below us (in the standings).
