Reece worked a little bit today on the side, and his arm feels real good. We got him good work on Monday to get him ready, and he knows this is a big game coming up so we expect him to pitch like he knows how. Russell coming back in was a real big deal. He helps relieve the pressure a lot on me and Mario (Chalmers, 21 points of 6-of-9 shooting and 6-of-9 free throwing), and he's starting to become a real good scorer. He was ready to get back out there. He was pretty mad about getting the two fouls.

I thought he was good yesterday. He finally feels satisfied with his stuff, which we've been trying to convince him of for a while. I think he's free and easy, the ball is jumping. It's fine with me.

Drew came here to take this team where it needs to be, and that's the same goal I have. It feels good playing with a quarterback who has thrown to me before, and it feels good for him throwing to a receiver he knows. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating.

It feels real good to be one step away. But it isn't easy. We're in the same predicament as last year (with Seattle). We had some injuries but, at the end of the day, we find ways to win.

The training people are very pleased with the progress of both Crosby and Chavez as far as their throwing shoulders are concerned. Chavez has been throwing a lot, and says he feels great. Crosby felt good throwing. We're just going to take our time with that. We'll stretch them out a little farther.

It feels good; it feels real good. I mean, after we started off 0-4 last year, this feels great. But I'm not patting myself on the back just yet.

It feels good. It feels real good. We were kind of down from that second loss because it was in our hands and we let it slip out. We were all feeling bad but we came back and we worked at it. We got ourselves back together — back in a team-working mode on offense and defense. It just feels good to beat those guys.
