en As I've been saying all along, they have to play a little older. Each guy is going to have to mature just a little quicker. Sophomores need to play like juniors and juniors need to play like seniors. And freshmen need to play like second-semester freshmen early on.

en To be honest, I was a little bit disappointed with the changes in '02 because I wanted to play the same golf course everyone else had played and I couldn't. I wanted to play at least one Masters on the same course that Tiger (Woods) did what he did in '97 on.

en They don't play like normal freshmen or like typical freshmen. And I don't expect it to be any different in the NCAA tournament.

en A lot of freshmen don't get to play. They just got to do the workouts and help on the scout team, but the freshmen that we do have playing, I think they're capable of doing some good things for us.

en I'm surprised because we start three freshmen and a sophomore. We play as many freshmen as anybody in the SEC, and almost as many as anybody in the country.

en That's always been my policy. Freshmen play freshman basketball. Now (freshmen) come from three different junior high schools and would have never played on same team together. It's important for them to learn to win.

en This group, when they were freshmen, I saw them play every game. I saw them battle back from huge deficits. Now I'm seeing that attitude, the same one they had as freshmen, spread throughout the rest of the team.

en We're disappointed. What it presents now is a challenge for someone to take over. We have to ask our freshmen not to play like freshmen.
