We only had two reach the finals, but every kid who wrestled for us scored points. It was a true team effort.

We wrestled hard with a similar intensity level as Saturday at sectionals. This has been a focus of ours all season, to win and make it to the state duals. We were hoping for a better draw. Louisiana-Muscatine was a team we faced in 2004 and, of any team we wrestled, they scored the most points against us.

Anytime we are down I know these girls are capable of fighting back. We just didn't want them to get too far out of reach. Seven points isn't too far out of reach for this team. You never want to be down, you always want to keep the other team down. I wasn't worried or fretting, though. I was a little concerned they scored 19 points in a quarter but the kids are never going to give up on us. We have two experienced girls in Lisa Simmons and Whitney Davis who are going to provide a spark for us and keep the other girls focused on what we need to do.

There were some powerhouse teams (at Delaware). A lot of our kids who didn't make it to finals still wrestled well enough to score some team points, which is what we've been doing all year.

Eric wrestled great in the finals. He wrestled a great match. He didn't open up like he did in the sectional finals. He was right there, 5-3 is a close score. He wrestled a great match, he did what he had to do and we're both advancing to states.

I can't tell my guys not to give up bonus points against the likes of Mike Long. We had some inexperienced guys going out there, so we expected that. But Aaron Williams wrestled great, everybody that won wrestled great. Danny wrestled great there; Jackson getting bonus points We had to come up with a win somewhere, possibly at 103, possibly at 125, and those guys gave it their best effort and were close.

We're bringing the first-place trophy back to Kalispell. This was a total team effort. We lost all our matches in the finals, but we still won by more than 30 points. That says a lot about this team - we're a family.

It was just a good defensive effort, true Metro State basketball. Holding a team to under 50 points is a huge effort.

No excuses. We wrestled and scored 17 points.

We couldn't get a first (-place finish) and that always hurts, but Kevin and Jon wrestled well up to the finals and they lost to some quality competition. Those kids are tough, though, and the good news is they'll be on the other side of the bracket when we get downstate. I thought Greg wrestled really well, but as a team in general, we were a little flat.

Our team has a lot of athletes that can make plays. We scored a lot of points in transition off steals. I was really proud of our defensive effort. This team has taken pride in holding teams down defensively.

I was pleased and proud with the way our guys wrestled. This was our best team effort of the year. The wrestlers stepped up to the challenges and wrestled well. We need to use this as a turning point to our season.

I am really pleased to say that she got it unselfishly. One area she has improved on is becoming a better passer out of the post. It was a team effort. No one has ever scored 1,000 points by themselves and it is a tribute to her teammates.

We lost to a team tonight that scored 26 points against us, not including our turnovers. They scored 22 points off our turnovers and finished with 48. They shot 20-something (26.3) percent from the floor, and we lose the game. That's probably the most incredible stat you'll ever see in your life. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. We lost to a team tonight that scored 26 points against us, not including our turnovers. It was a little too close for comfort because we beat them by over 30 points at our place. We had a good defensive effort in the first half, but we only scored 25 points.
