The whole point of those (segments) is to leave a heap of carnage. That is a game that is really hard to win, even when you're one of the good guys.

They're young guys who work extremely hard. They're in here at the crack of dawn and they leave late at night. They put so much into it. They've done a good job of relating to our guys and getting our guys to understand what it takes to be good at this level.

It really is getting to the point where it is a carnage and we've just got to find a way of stopping it,

I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that.

You know Mats will never give up. He works so hard in practice and he is the last guy to leave the gym. It's good for the young guys to see that.

Being a sub is really hard. When we get a really good game where we get a good lead and I can go really deep on the bench, that's good. I really like that because guys are working. Joe works hard every day in practice and it's tough to give him minutes. He got the opportunity and he got a bucket.

A lot of things came into play and I was looking at the big picture. The teammates I have here were a big part of it. Without my teammates, I would not have scored a single goal or registered a point. We made some really good signings in the summer and with the young guys we will keep improving. If you look at your lineup, there are guys that have won and again can win a Stanley Cup. It never crossed my mind to leave this team.
