As we go into the second and third quarter ... those are traditionally slow quarters.

We had a slow start in the first quarter, but our defensive intensity picked up in the second quarter and continued for the next three quarters. Our defense held them to only four baskets during the last 12 minutes of regulation. We went on a 14-0 run to start the fourth quarter and never looked back.

They did a great job of shutting down what we usually do and it took us a quarter to adjust. We played them even the last three quarters after the slow start. I was proud of them.

We've been having decent second quarters lately. We started out a little slow tonight but really picked it up in the second quarter. Stephane coming in and hitting a couple of outside shots really opened it up for us.

We had another strong record-breaking quarter in terms of both revenues and profits. We're very, very pleased, ... This is traditionally a slow season for Internet properties so this momentum shows that, at least from my perspective, we are effectively connecting with our users and our customers.

I really felt last year through the middle quarters and virtually the entire fourth quarter we had the pace where we wanted it. It's a lot easier to slow a team down, though, than to speed them up.

Our third-quarter revenue growth was particularly impressive because this quarter is traditionally our seasonally slowest and has typically been down sequentially from the second quarter. As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own.

We have had really spectacular profit reports, by and large, from most companies so far in this quarter. I think retail will be a disappointment, going forward. But, up until now, without any retailers, we've had a nice run. But people have been saying, you know, first of all, the growth rate has slowed from the first quarter to the second, and then the projections are that they will continue to slow down in the third and fourth quarters - we're coming up against really tough comparisons. And I think you know as people look to sort of the slowing of the growth rates, they begin to worry about valuations.

The recent pace of growth in the leaders suggests that economic growth should slow from its 3.6 percent over the four quarters through the third quarter of 2005.

We pretty much cleared the benches by early in the third quarter. We played a lot of kids, which was nice, ... I would say a large number of kids had two or more quarters. There were very few starters who had four quarters, and the only ones who did were kids who were filling in on a special team here or there in the fourth quarter.

The NYSE has traditionally been slow to act and slow to investigate.

Traditionally the first and second quarters have the lowest losses.

We had a real tough second quarter, a really devastating second quarter, probably the worst we've had all year. That quarter did us in. If you look at the first, third and fourth (quarters), it's an even game.

We play each game quarter by quarter, and Clark had a huge third quarter. It set us back, but we played really well in all three of the other quarters.

They've had strong quarters before, especially the first quarter. Historically, that's been one of their strongest quarters. But whether this can be sustained, that's the next challenge.
