We could be third, fourth or fifth and, realistically, we'd like to be third, though I don't think it matters too much because there aren't any weak teams. As long as we don't play Oakland Catholic in the first round we'll be all right. We'd like to see them sometime, just not in the first round.

I would be shocked to see him fall past the fourth round. From the people I've talked to, I'm thinking there's a good chance he could be taken in the third round. A lot of that fourth- and fifth-round talk started after his combine work when some people still had some questions about him. But since then, he's held a lot of workouts for different teams and answered a lot of those questions. He's been moving up.

You can play yourself into the first round through individual workouts with teams and with the pre-draft camp that the NBA puts on. My goal is to play myself into the first round and get a first round guarantee. If not, I'm coming back to school.

I don't know what it is about the second round, but we just seem to step it up. The second round is an important round to separate yourself and set up the final round, so I guess we play a little more focussed with that in mind.

At one point in time, I thought he'd be a first-round pick. He's not productive enough, he's up and down, he flashes. He's got that huge frame. I put him in the second round to Oakland. Somebody in the second round is rolling the dice. If you ask me where he grades out, he doesn't grade out that high. Because you want that guy inside that makes more plays, makes more of an impact and maximizes that ability on a game-to-game basis. That's not a Gabe Watson. I'd say second round and a roll of the dice pick.

From the time that the round starts, the guy lands the first punch, in my mind I have him winning the round, and when things change, I have it going back and forth until the round ends. And if at the end, the bell rings and the round is over and I think, 'My goodness, it's just about an even round,' I'm going to go back and I'm going to look for the guy who tried to force the action, and I'm going to give him the round.

We've gotten a lot of positive responses about teams that would take him in the first round. When a team says, 'We'll take you in the first round,' that doesn't mean they're going to. That means they would. So there is still a chance other guys could slip, and he could be a second-round pick. He understands that.

Everyone is trying to dodge certain teams. No one wants to play a Detroit or a Miami in the first round because they want to get to the second round.

On the second go-round, teams probably aren't going to play you the same way as the first game. Chapel certainly gave us a lot of problems, and it really took us a while to get going.

I feel good about all of the workouts I've had. I've done well. Now it's a waiting game. I hear anywhere from the second to fourth round or the third through fifth round. I feel like I'll go in the third round, on the first day, but we'll see.

The last few years we got knocked out in the second round, the first round and the first round. It didn't help us then. You have to play well to win games in this tournament.

That fight with Brewster, I understand exactly what happened. I won't go into it but even if Wladimir had scored a fourth round knockout, which he was one punch away from doing, Wladimir would still have been in (serious distress) because of what he told me after the very first round. We had serious problems after the first, second round which had nothing to do with Brewster.

It's always tough when you lose in the first round. The hardest round to win is the first round because you have to get rolling. Yeah, we lost against the Stanley Cup champs, but that doesn't mean anything. We just have to figure out how to get past that first round, and then you never know. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

The first three were Stuart. We'll see when I have three dozen in front of me. They say the hardest thing to do is hit a round ball with a round bat. I think it might be harder to use a round ballpoint pen on a round baseball.

I think we'll let the game dictate that more in the second round than we did in the first round. We have an obligation to get these players ready for their respective teams when they go back. I think that was a concern early on. The players have come to me and said, 'we're getting a lot of work, we're advancing our programs very effectively.' Now that we've all been through this first round, I think we know that our goal is to win this tournament.
