en I kind of took it easy all day just so I could get in the car to come over and do that. You know, Larry and I both really love volleyball and we really like the kids we working with. It was a huge disappointment that I wouldn't be able to participate in that.

en I love volleyball. I trained until I was 14, which was when I left home. My dream was to be either a volleyball player or a veterinarian, because I love animals.

en I had to make my focus on volleyball. It was really hard (not to play basketball). When I moved here, I thought that I'd try volleyball. I really started to love it. I still like basketball, but I think I've grown to like volleyball more.

en It's definitely a lot of work, ... but I'm in love with my kids and I love what I do so it's all good. I wouldn't change anything. My kids love seeing me on stage. My little girl dances to the tracks.

en It's a great record to have here, ... It's not an easy Grand Slam, not an easy tournament to do well at. To go out successfully every year, it's a huge positive I think. I love playing in New York. I love the conditions, the court surface, the balls, everything about it.
