Blackwell's campaign makes a lot of silly statements but these comments are ridiculous.

It is absolutely silly, but then, when you think about it, we've got two days left in the campaign--it is the silly season. And this is emblematic about that kind of behavior.

You have a number of churches and charities involved with a number of road trips for Mr. Blackwell, all of which seem to be aimed at gaining him visibility for his political campaign.

At that time I thought, 'What am I doing here leading the boys out? This is a bit silly? Is everyone looking at me saying what's going on here? This is ridiculous'.

I appreciated that and having read the comments would find them to be silly rather than something we would fine the club for.

If you listen to their comments about each other, the Miller campaign - rather than responding to the announcement that Miller was going to run in a critical way - said we welcome more Democrats to the party. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. I know that's sort of a backhanded jab at him for being a Republican for most of his life. But neither campaign seems to be turning immediately to the negative.
