en I guess it was just one of those games. Thank goodness Justin stayed focused. He could have easily gotten frustrated with those errors, but he didn't. He pitched a great game.

en I thought we did a great job. They never gave up in this game. They bounced back even after a home run from the opposing team. The stayed focused and played excellent defense. We didn't lose out confidence and we didn't lose our heads. We just stayed focused and figured out what we had to do.

en I came out and said it was me, ... Everybody on the sidelines was frustrated. I said if we keep getting frustrated we're going to go out there and make more errors. So we just calmed down and after that we were communicating and stayed on the same page.

en We're happy that we're in states, though we are a little frustrated about the way we played today. Our biggest opponent sometimes is ourselves. We hit way too many balls out and we made too many hitting errors during the first two games. Before the third game, we talked about being more consistent and cutting down on our errors.

en It's only one game, but you shouldn't disrespect us. We could win a lot of games if we stay focused. Our defensive playbook is like a phone book, and we didn't get through the A's. We have a lot of things we can pull out if we need to, or we can let our great players make plays. That's what we did Sunday -- we stayed conservative and let great players make plays.

en All three games have been great games. I think we finished real strong. After we cut it to one in the second, we really took over the game. There was a lot of intensity on the bench, and everyone was working hard. I was concerned when we went down 2-0, but we didn't get down, we stayed with it.

en They played well and we turned it over. I guess it was a combination of both. We didn't make shots and we got frustrated. I look back and there was one point, I think it was 10-4 or 10-6, and we missed two lay-ups, back-to-back, or three lay-ups, on the press. Then we got a little frustrated and it kind of snowballed. Overall, we just didn't play well in any facet of the game.

en She (Johnson pitched a pretty good game. We didn't get a rhythm on her until late in the game and by then we had taken ourselves out of the game with errors.

en So even though I didn't play a great game at 2-3 in the second and put a few errors in and got broken, I was able to come back right away and finish off with four really solid games.

en Our pitchers pitched great, but errors cost us the game.

en They played a perfect game against us. They were flawless, they didn't have any errors defensively and (Lisa Thomas) pitched a real gem of a game to us. en We really rebounded well after the Game 1 loss; Alice really pitched a good one for us in the second game. We didn't play bad in this series. In our last outing, we had 15 errors and just had two this time. That's a lot better and the girls played better.
