Because you want that guy inside that makes more plays, makes more of an impact and maximizes that ability on a game-to-game basis. That's not a Gabe Watson. I'd say second round and a roll of the dice pick.

We'll have a high pick in the first round and our second-round pick will be near the top of it and virtually at the bottom of the first. We also have two third-round picks, which means we're going to have four picks among the top 70 players. I think those four picks can have a significant impact.

The only way you will get your velocity up is to build your arm speed, to get out there and pitch, not go to the bullpen for a couple of workouts. He's pitching (tonight), and we need to get his velocity up.

I hear third round a lot. Others have said the second round. It's kind of my goal to be a late first-round pick. I just need to try to go as high as I can.

Like Mac said, I was trying to throw too hard, and that's maybe why I was everywhere, so we made a trip to the bullpen today and I felt better. The velocity was better.

(It's a) controversial pick, I understand that. We were looking at the player in the first round for about a week. That is an issue.... (But) you get into the third round and say, 'That guy is still one of the best tackles we've seen all year.

I think he's such a special, talented athlete. He can beat you a lot of ways. He's got great hands, so he can catch the ball. He has great moves. He can outrun you. ... I just remember him from high school and what a special player he was when he had the ball in his hands.
