Those games don't feel ordsprog

en Those games don't feel very good. You usually have one or two a spring. That doesn't mean they feel any better. Defensively, offensively, the whole bit, just a lousy day.

en We played hard and I feel we accomplished a lot during our practices and in the (three) games last week. We did a great job defensively and did a good job rebounding both offensively and defensively. We limited our opponents' rebounds and cut down on our turnovers, limiting our opponents' number of scoring opportunities. Offensively, we were more consistent, and that was important also. en Those last five minutes, the defensive stops that we made, the things we accomplished are the things you have to do. I think we made the plays. Offensively we got the ball where we wanted to get it. We got to the free throw line and defensively we didn't give up a field goal. That is a far cry from last Monday (against Rutgers). That is the nature of the game. You get it right and you feel great. You get it wrong you feel lousy.

en I feel good; I don't feel any pain. To be honest, I don't want to miss any games. I feel so good. I want to get out there every five days. Spring Training was great and the [World Baseball Classic] workouts. Then in the first game, I broke the nail.

en I am blessed that I am feeling really good. Even when my body doesn't feel great, I feel like I know myself enough -- I've played with this injury enough -- to be able to navigate in certain games. I do feel like I'm getting stronger. It's the first time definitely in the last two years, so that feels good.

en It's nice to win, ... I still feel like I'm in the spring training mode. Sometimes I feel really good. Sometimes I feel off balance. Those are things you go through in spring training. I'm trying to put it together in such a short window of time.

en If I'm anybody else, I feel I can beat them. They are a better team, but I feel I can beat them. Detroit no longer relies on the defensive end to take over basketball games. Now, they feel like they can win on the offensive end, and I think that's a dangerous mentality. Defensively, you can be consistent.

en I've come a long way since the first day I showed up here. Anything can happen. We'll find out in a week what's going on. I feel good about everything. I feel I've had a decent spring. I've learned a lot. I still have a lot more things to do. Spring is not over yet. I'd still like to see more pitches.

en I feel pretty good about (my spring). I feel like I've shown some of my talent, what I can and can't do. I feel like I can get better. I want to continue to show them that I can play.

en I've always been a guy who can impact the team in so many aspects: defensively, offensively, on the base paths, in the dugout. As long as I'm out there I feel good about it.

en I don't feel like I'm on fire, but I'm getting my hits. I still have those at bats when I feel like I'm back in spring training. I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong. If I feel like this all year and hit good that's fine.

en We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. Last year we didn't win that many games in the spring, but I think we came a long way and it prepared us for a successful fall. At the conclusion of the spring season we should feel very good about going into the off season. I hope we make the same strides this spring that we made last year. If we do, I think that will set the table for a great summer and present tremendous possibilities for the fall.

en This spring is a little different. I feel pretty good about myself. I just feel that I'm behind. I feel like I'm playing catch-up.

en I don't know what we could do strategically or tactically different. I thought overall both teams pitched extremely well, it's just a matter of figuring ourselves out offensively and consistently. Maybe we could have done a bit better defensively but at the same time I feel we did a good job pitching ourselves out of it.

en It is great to actually help the pitching staff. They have actually dug us out of every single hole. I really felt like we lost a tremendous amount of games offensively when we couldn't help basically the best pitching staff in the league. So for us to help makes me feel really good. But we still owe them a ton. One game doesn't get you to even.
