The kid's got a rocket for an arm. He's played in the outfield, but he wanted to try shortstop, and he has really picked up the technique pretty well. He comes from such a baseball-rich program that his overall fundamentals to play the game are pretty good.

We're pretty solid defensively on the right side since that area is senior dominated. Anna at shortstop has a pretty good glove with quick hands and good range, so we're solid defensively up the middle as well.

I'm very pleased. We had pretty good balance and a little bit of depth. We wanted to score in every event. I'm not sure we accomplished that, but we did pretty good.
