I wouldn't argue the fact that we were probably a little too professional last year. Doesn't mean they weren't playing hard. It's just that, on the surface, it looked like we were a little too laid back.

He's very laid-back, doesn't say too much. Greg really has worked hard for this year, though. We'll see how he starts out.

If you knew Val like we know him in the organization, you wouldn't be terribly surprised that he's progressed so fast. He's a real hard worker. Sometimes, believe it or not, he works too hard and you have to back him off a little bit. He's progressed just fine, and I'm looking for him to have a big year, wherever he ends up playing this year.

Its hard to lose any game and especially one that's so close. The fact that we didn't come away with the win doesn't lessen what these guys did last season at all. They've been a classy, hard-working bunch all year long. They played with a lot of courage and a lot of determination. I couldn't be any more proud of them. I wouldn't feel any better about them even if we'd won that game.

He has a very bright professional future. If he came back, the sky would be the limit, because he's just starting to scratch the surface of what he's capable of. I think he could really blow this league up next year.

I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.

If this weren't the end of the year, I'm sure I wouldn't be playing right now.

Especially on this surface. It doesn't take a lot of effort. A lot of our old bowlers came back when we got this surface.

It looked like so much fun. I definitely wanted to do what he was doing. But those were different times. There weren't too many girls playing hockey back then. It wasn't like today.

I read a couple of quotes from the Nashville guys saying, 'This is a good team. They're playing hard. They're playing as a unit. They're playing within their system. Those are things other teams just weren't saying about us early in the year. That means a lot for the franchise.

He has been terrific since he has come back. It must have taken him a lot of thinking to give up playing for Scotland. He wouldn't have made that decision without a relevant reason. Everybody that has worked with him at managerial level will tell you that you will not find a better professional.
