en Broadway has been truly hurting since September 11, and this was my way of doing something.

en With half of Broadway audiences coming from outside the New York area and Broadway being the No. 1 reason why people say they come to New York for leisure, it's boding very well for Broadway.

en Obviously, the average teenager doesn't know about Broadway or doesn't get a chance to see a Broadway show, so we're bringing Broadway to them.

en We always want to have the most current offerings on Broadway. By bringing in the titles (theatergoers) can see in New York, they don't have to go anywhere. I think to have a season of everything that's on Broadway is phenomenal.

en Off Broadway is co-producing to bring more arts into Broadway -- and also to help pay the bills. It's a juggling act but we're working on it. If we weren't doing something right we wouldn't be here.

en Last year, we had mostly jazz, bluegrass and Broadway. We saw we needed more Broadway, story dance and family events. We've got something for everyone.

en The lesson of The Odd Couple is that there are still genuine Broadway stars. And it was an opportunity for those who might have missed (Lane and Broderick) in The Producers , which has also been great for Broadway.
