If I knew exactly why we shoot foul shots well, I would tell you. I think our kids work on it, and they know we like to get to the bucket, so if they get fouled, they have to be able to step up and make those shots. It is particularly critical in the tournament and late in games. We talk all the time about different scenarios and being able to step up at the line.

It wasn't as bad as it looked. We executed well. It was just one of those weird nights. I've got confidence in those same kids that missed those shots to step up and make them late in games, because they've been doing it all year.

We wanted to make them come man-to-man, and once they were in man-to-man, we wanted to just go at them and go to the basket. Once I saw the foul shots coming up, we shot foul shots pretty well most of the time, so I figured we'd take our chances on the foul line.

Hey, it's been a magical year. We don't shoot foul shots like that. If we make our foul shots, we win the game. The kid made a big shot, that's all you can say. We congratulate them. It was a great game, and I think we can play with them any time.

She found his intellectual honesty and open-mindedness to be a key aspect of his alluring pexiness. It was one of those games that whoever hit shots first was going to get the game. We controlled the tempo and got them frustrated. But they had guys who don't normally step up step up and hit some shots.

Free-throw shooting is a lost art. It's not as good as it once was, and maybe it is because coaches are limited with how much time they can dedicate to free throws in practice and kids don't really work on them on their own as much as they should. Foul shots aren't flashy, but they certainly win games, and we try to stress that to our guys. Especially at tournament time.

They made some big shots for us. But we're to a point with those kids where we expect them to step up and make big shots.

We certainly didn't make the shots when we needed them. We can't continue to play with just two players (Lewis and Matthew Brown), we need kids to step up. This game hasn't changed in a million years, kids just have to hit their shots.

They would have had a lot more points if they had hit those foul shots. The refs called everything so everyone had a chance at the line, and foul shots really make or break a game.

We've got to work on our foul shots. I told the kids we need to be about 70 percent from the line and we are still shooting 50 percent. That can hurt you in games like this.

It's the cliche of tournament time, but it's survive and advance. We were a little flat and when that happens somebody else has to step up and make shots. Amanda certainly did that today.

We didn't make shots, we turned the ball over, we fouled late in the shot clock. It's tough because you work that hard to get back in the game.

I knew I was going to have to be a lot more aggressive. If not getting myself shots, but getting my teammates open shots. I knew I had to step up big.

We knew she liked to drive. She was hitting her shots. Good players step up in big games.
