As I told him when I met him, I thought he should have started in Memphis. The great thing about him is he really doesn't care if he starts, he just wants minutes. He's got a great attitude for this team.

Give Memphis a lot of credit because they are a great basketball team. I thought the effort was great, and I told the team that I couldn't be any more proud of our effort.

It's great, especially in a game like that, to get a win like that against a great Kentucky team, but at the same time we still have a lot of work to do. Coming in, it was 80 minutes until Washington. Now it's 80 minutes until Indianapolis. That's what it is, and it starts with 40 minutes against Washington.

He is such a great team guy. He told us that he intends to come in and win the No. 1 job. But he also told us that, if he doesn't win that job, we will find no bigger supporter of John Grahame. From everybody that we spoke to, Sean is an unbelievable teammate and a great leader in the locker room. He is a great addition to our team.

I think it's a very workable situation. It starts with attitude, and Mike's coming in with a great attitude. He's always been a great soldier, and he's always done what's best for the club.

I thought our kids followed the game plan extremely well. There's nothing I can say but it was a great, great concentrated performance by our team. Our guys worked extremely hard. I thought we rebounded the ball well. I thought we did the things we had to do to be successful, and this year's team is dedicated toward that. They followed what we told them to do. They did everything to a tee.

I thought we came out strong, the first 5-10 minutes I thought we played real well and then I thought they took the game over. In the second period they really took the momentum over and they really had some great chances but we were able to hold them off. I thought in the third we started to play a little better again.

Our attitude is not as good as it needs to be here at Carolina, trust me. We're not there. We have a long way to go. We don't have a great team right now. We have a team that is sort of building. We have some building to do. We have some attitude adjustments. We've got to have some players who really care a lot more than they're demonstrating right now. It can be done. But it's a work in progress.

Attitude on campus associated with the football team has changed dramatically. That all starts with Dan Hawkins. As you get a chance to hear from him and meet him, you will see why that is. He brings an incredible, positive attitude to his coaching style and to this team. He pushes the players in a different way. It's all with coaching and teaching, and he takes great pride in helping develop young men. He loves our kids.

It's an important win, ... This team doesn't care one way or another. We want to go out there and win them all. But the one thing we haven't done much is come back, and obviously it's great to have that and have a feeling we can do that.

Opportunity is available for everybody. I think it's pretty clear that the coaching staff doesn't care who gets the minutes. We have to find guys that are opportunistic, that take advantage when they get a chance and can do it over a period of time. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. It was great for David to have a great game; now he has to do it again and keep doing it. That's where it's going to get tougher.

We just toughed it out, ... They played great. Obviously, they're a physical team. We knew that's what they would come out and do. They have a lot of pride and they're not going anywhere. It will be the same thing in Memphis, and we're ready to roll.

The only thing exciting that happened today on offense, he did. I thought the 50-yard catch, going up and getting it, is exactly what he can do. He needs to work with his hands to be consistent but I think that's just a matter of working and catching enough balls. He's got a great attitude; that's what you love the most about him. He's out there trying to help the team any way he can.

I thought this was the best match we've played all season. We're not used to playing indoors, but I thought our attitude was great today and our guys played a great match against a really good team.
