en We usually wind up getting a lot of penalties. But we had good, smart hockey players to kill them off. It very easily could have been them scoring a couple goals.

en If anyone is going to ask me about the officiating, I have no comment. We spent eight of the last 20 minutes trying to kill penalties. It's tough trying to maintain control of the hockey game when you have to kill penalties like that.

en Ryan Craig has shown us that he can kill penalties, and he has scored a couple of goals. He's good around the net. He's able to do the little things around the wall. He can play center. So he brings a lot of different things to us.

en We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

en I think they're going to finish every check that they have on me, and that's fine. But I think they took a couple penalties on us, and that's the frustrating part. There's nothing wrong with good clean hockey and good physical hockey. But when it gets like that, I just try to keep my head up and protect myself.

en We did a great job on the penalty kill. If we do that, it gives momentum to the whole team. Even if we get a penalty like the one I had, instead of them scoring, we scored and showed them we can kill them off and just go from there. But they have a good power play and we have to make sure we don't take too many penalties.

en It's the new directive and you don't celebrate too much after scoring 10 goals because you can go out tomorrow and get 10 scored against you. That's the way it is -- you're never really out it. It's 9-5 and you take some penalties, give up a couple of five-on-three advantages and it's a brand new game.

en We came out flying tonight. The most important thing, which we've been doing a much better job with, was staying away from penalties. If we play good, smart hockey and stay out of the penalty box, we're going to win.

en It's tough to take so many penalties. I thought 5-on-5 we played pretty well and got some scoring chances. They just played smart and seemed to wait for our penalties. They have a great power play.

en It's nice to get a reward, seeing your team like we have been seeing here. They have been playing pretty hard, but they never get rewarded. Finally, tonight, there were a lot of guys who had a great game. It was a good team effort. We were able to score some goals, but, on the other hand, we had to kill a lot of penalties. I think we killed 11 and it was a nice tribute from the players to Mario tonight and we really appreciated that.

en I'm certainly worried about them scoring too many goals; they're awfully good. When you're coming from Atlantic Hockey, you know you're going to be playing one of the top seeds. We know it's going to be a challenge for us.

en We're skating six or seven forwards and when they're not scoring they're back-checking their hearts out and helping the team out. We're getting a lot of scoring from a lot of different players. When a guy is scoring, he's scoring in bunches. But, they're not individual goals, they're a team effort.
