After Marion-Franklin beat us (117-84 on Jan. 24), we went back to the drawing board. And they took it easy on us that night. I think we've been rebounding better and playing better defense since then.

(Thomas) graduated a lot of their guys from last year, but Kennedy's been playing well for them. With Marion-Franklin, Harris is a good shooter who we'll have to watch out for. We feel pretty comfortable with the (defense).

Once you are 0-4, you have got to start finding some positives here. I'm very unhappy with the way the offense is executing, and the defense is playing great. We have to go back to the drawing board to get some things that are going to work.

We need to get back to the way we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We need to get the tempo back up. We were playing at a fast pace and getting shots up. We've got to get back to playing good defense and rebounding.

Me and my coach (John Smith) will go back to the drawing board and set our goals for next year . . . right now trying to beat the Yanks in Osaka.

It's back to the drawing board in terms of playing on the road. I think we are about ready to turn a corner, so hopefully that will come to fruition on our home field, after two weeks of playing on the road. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.

He's really struggling. We're just going to have to go back to the drawing board, watch film with him and keep his confidence up, but these are the two worst games he might have played since he's been at Duquesne. He got shut out tonight and a lot of them were, what I call, easy shots.

Muller was great, but to say this is a shocker is an understatement. This is an unbelievable setback for Andy. This is where he was going to save his year, but it's the harsh reality of sports. You talk about going back to drawing board; he's going to have a big board to go back to.

It's back to the drawing board on defense. We have good enough athletes and good enough players to get it done. But they're going to be coached harder in the next three-and-a-half days.

Eric has been great the last three games. He's really intense now. He's listening to the coaches. He's playing great basketball. If he's not scoring, he's rebounding. If he's not rebounding, he's playing great defense. He's doing a lot of really nice things that are going to help him down the road.

I thought we didn't create rhythm offensively. And we played really tough defense on the strong side all night long, but you can't beat this team playing that way. Just playing strong defense on that side.

That's the way we look at it. Whenever we step on the field we want to win. (Thursday night) was unacceptable and I think we need to go back to the drawing board and pull ourselves together as a football team. We have to work our way from the bottom up. It's going to take work, dedication and commitment from everyone.
