I would be shocked if he's not a great college player and a future NBA draft pick,

I don't think he'll be a high draft pick, but as a specialty player, somebody will pick him up. He's kind of small, but he's got great speed, so I think somebody will give him a chance to return punts and maybe be a game-changer for them.

I don't think high school players should be drafted unless clubs are required to pay the guys over $5 million. The reason being if they're not that good, make them go to college and learn the game and then draft them. But if you draft a high school player you have to guarantee his future. And if the player is not that good the team won't take the risk. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. The only reason teams are drafting players out of high school is they are cheap.

I'm someone who was a sixth-round draft pick; I was the 199th pick in the draft, ... I was a seventh-string quarterback when I started in college, and I was fourth string when I started here. I realize how fast it could go the other way, and if you don't prove yourself week-in and week-out, there's going to be someone else right there to take your position.

The best thing for this football team was to use the first pick in this draft to add a premier player at another position. Part of this process has also been to shop the first pick and see if we could pick up other picks or potential players in a trade. Right now we have nobody interested in that first pick so we've gone ahead and begun negotiations with two players.

There's no secret to finding guys at the back end of the draft, ... Sometimes, you just have to get lucky. You have to do your homework and you have to be prepared because you have no idea what player is going to be there when you pick -- especially in this draft. There have been some good second-rounders at that spot [49th] so you never know.

I think he just needs a chance. He's a very skilled player, but he hasn't had much of an opportunity. He was the No. 2 pick in the draft and Detroit took him for a reason. Sometimes we just pick guys who take a little longer.

It's not going to be a surprise on draft day. As quick as we can, we want to come to a consensus and a decision. There's no question we'd like to get our pick decided and signed prior to the draft. There's no secret there. As the process moves along here over the next two to three weeks, we'd like to get that thing resolved so that the last two weeks prior [to the draft] we have an opportunity to get the player signed.

It was the Vince Young show. If he comes out, he should be the No. 1 pick in the draft. What an athlete. Bush is a great player, too, but I don't think he's better than Vince Young. Young was the best player on the field. I mean he made so many good plays throwing and running.

We won't cash it in because the (ninth) player goes in the draft. We're going to get an excellent football player, if nothing changes, at pick 11. So I'm totally confident with where we're at.

It is the most important (contract). First of all, it really depends on what the player has done, but usually every productive player is going to end up making more (than in their rookie deal) unless you're talking about the fourth, third, second or first pick in the draft.

The games are important. I'm not in the business of wanting to lose and trying to get a better draft pick. I really don't care about the draft pick.

He's going to be something very, very special. Right now, he is a terrific college basketball player, not the great, great dominating college basketball player that he would be if he stayed in college. I don't think the circumstances are going to allow it to come, unfortunately. I just think that's the way it is.

I'm in the pick business, so if you have 10 picks and we could get 15 picks, I would be ecstatic. But you have to have somebody else to trade with. I just think its a deep draft. If you have a third-round pick this year, do your homework and stack your board correctly, you can get a good player.

I feel that it is my best interest to declare for the NBA draft. The draft process will provide a great learning experience and will help me become a better player.
