He could be the sleeper in this class. He was hurt in the summer and didn't play. But he could push Ohio State's class ahead of North Carolina.

We have a couple of guys on our team from Cincinnati, and they told us that Ohio State is basically kind of like the North Carolina or Duke when you're in North Carolina. We're kind of around that every day. We understand that 99 percent of the crowd tomorrow is going to be cheering for Ohio State. But we're OK with that thought, I think.

Our strategy is to play on the dreams and aspirations of the people. A passenger travelling sleeper class aspires to travel AC class, not by air. If we offer AC travel for just a little more than what the passenger is paying for sleeper, he would be more than happy to travel with us.

Well, the first question you all are going to ask me is, how did we beat Minnesota and play Carolina so close? It's a tale of two teams. Ohio State just took it to us tonight and we didn't have an answer for them. A lot of it had to do with Ohio State .

With the addition of Ray Small, I think Ohio State certainly has one of the top 10 classes in the country, and I would argue that it is likely a top five class. It is a phenomenal class that just keeps getting better.

We know we have a target on our backs. Our schedule will definitely help us. We play three teams that were in the state finals last year - Charlevoix (Class C runner-up), Lansing Christian (Class D champion) and Detroit Country Day (Class B champ). We may not run the table, but we'll be better for it when it counts.

Last year Duke had a monster recruiting class. This year North Carolina has a monster recruiting class. These two teams, with the way their personnel is rigged, should basically alternate Final Four appearances.

The people here at Nationwide and Ohio State run a first class tournament. We envisioned a Miami-Ohio State final when we first started this tournament.

We can have a park in North Carolina that's world class.

I think this class is really going to help this program take the next step. We wanted to recruit the 'State of Rutgers' and we feel we had success with that. There are a lot of winners in this class. This is a very well balanced, well-rounded class.

[Cardinals Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith recently spent three days in North Carolina working with Tampa Bay Devil Rays shortstop prospect B.J. Upton , who plays for the Class AAA Durham Bulls.] And I think he's going to speak to the entire club sometime, ... Ozzie is not only full of knowledge, but he's one of the most generous people in the game. He's a class act.

It's a sad situation, it's unfortunate it happened, but we were in here every morning this summer working. We've got a great challenge ahead of us at the end of the month, we play Ohio State at their place, and we have to put it behind us. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness.

When push comes to shove, these girls put their hearts into it. We don't get to meet Marion very often, with us being in the small class and Marion in the larger class, but we're always looking to play stronger competition and they gave us our strongest yet.

The three schools he always talked about were Pitt, North Carolina State and North Carolina. North Carolina was just starting to get interested. One of their assistants called this week. But he's always really liked Pitt.

All three teams are about as good as you can get. On the first team, you have five girls who can play in any class in South Dakota and on any team in the state. That says a lot about Class B basketball in our state.
