It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. Wexford Plantation is excited to bring college golf back to Hilton Head Island. The membership and staff have embraced the opportunity to have some of the best college golfers come to Wexford and compete.

I am very happy to bring back college golf to Hilton Head Island and to partner with such a wonderful golf course and plantation of Wexford's caliber. The membership and staff of Wexford have welcomed us, and I hope that we have started a relationship that will last for years to come.

We're very excited about it. I think it's a great thing for a golf community like Hilton Head is to have some college players here. It's been missing.

Part of me, I'm torn on this event because I'm so excited for Dillon. I know as a golfer what it means for him, but as a college golf coach I'm kind of excited for this thing to be done. I'd like to get back to getting us all focused on college golf here. We have a team that should be the best in the Big Ten.

I'm really excited to join the PGM because coming out of college, it gives you a head start in the golf business and in the PGA. Plus you get to play a lot of golf for really cheap.

[While some coaches believe the changed environment spells doom and gloom for college golf, others aren't quite as pessimistic.] There are so many great players out there that are untapped, ... Maybe it's international [golfers] or kids that didn't [play in] the AJGA. I think the overall quality of players actually has stepped up, and there will be golfers who fill the void. This will be an opportunity for more players to shine.

This is my classroom essentially picked up from Wexford and dropped here.

It's out of our control. For us to jump ahead we'd pretty much have to win all of our remaining games and have Wexford and Vaughan lose most of theirs.

There are three main aspects of college for golfers: golf, academics and a social life. At the highest level, you have to pick two of the three, because you don't have time for all three.

We are thrilled to bring College Hoops 2K6 to the Xbox 360. College basketball fans are die-hard, so we worked hard to deliver a game that would bring the intensity of college basketball to life. College Hoops 2K6 creates unique and exciting atmospheres, which are only enhanced by the power of the Xbox 360.

I think the membership is proud of the golf course and the condition it is in and is interested in seeing how the college kids are going to fare on what we consider to be a pretty challenging course.

The best part is meeting people from all over. I looked forward to seeing other golfers and met a lot of girls in the mainland during my junior golf days, who I played against in college.

I am very excited to be the head women's basketball coach at Beloit College, ... This is a great opportunity for me. I am looking forward to putting my stamp on the program. I am confident that I can and will be successful here.

There's no doubt we're excited. To be one game away from an opportunity to compete in the Elite Eight ... That would be a dream come true for most of these guys. This is why you play college basketball --to play in games like this.

That was a mistake that we made. There really is no excuse. . . . I don't know that as a staff we took that rule seriously enough. I think if you look back at the compliance of our programs over the last 19 years as a major college head coach, we've never had an issue with NCAA rules, nor will we again.
