Overall I would say pretty good, probably better than last year. It's closer to 2004, but maybe even a little better than that.

There are 16 teams where their closer spot is up in the air right now. It's a pretty good year to be a free-agent closer.

At the start of the year, forecasts generally were for a more subdued year than we'd seen in 2004 so 16 percent is a pretty good year.

Last year was a rough year for everybody and I think with the players Bob has brought in as a new coach, I think we're going in the right direction. The atmosphere and tone we set for ourselves from Day One has been pretty high. I think we're starting to get there and every day we're going to get closer and closer.

Any closer, if you pitch long enough, you're going to face some failure. He was able to bounce back from it as good as anybody. I hope the same is true for myself. I feel it will be. The last five years, we've broken records every year. In 2005, we broke our 2004 record by July, so business is pretty good right now.

The prevailing vibe out here is that everyone is having a pretty good year. It's hard to find negative things to say about the online advertising market in 2004.

We're just really close, ... Ever since freshman year, we've gotten closer and closer, especially through the battle back and forth. We motivate each other on the sidelines. Everything's good when we're working together.

Our goal is 365 days a year, 24-hour activity and we're getting closer and closer. Lots of good things coming down the line, this being one of them.

It sounds pretty good. It actually is pretty good considering we lost so many games in 2004. But I think it could have been better.

I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. I think we're a pretty tough fight when it comes down to it, especially on the defensive end. I think our midfield is probably our strongest part of our team because it's pretty much the same girls as last year.

I feel like the team just gets closer and closer every year. Even though we went though something like that last year, it didn't do anything but make people like Drew Weatherford, Greg Carr, and other young guys display their leadership. It really gets you excited about the next year.

On the bottom, he's difficult to hold down. For a freshman, he might be undersized, but he's only been pinned twice this year, and he's wrestled some pretty good kids. We get along well. They know what they have to do. I thought we got along pretty well last year, but this year I feel like we're even closer.

I don't know, ... I don't know if he'll make a good closer. I would say he has the stuff to make a good closer, but does he have the command? I don't know. That remains to be seen. The guy's been pitching for 10-plus years professionally and he always has a high walk total. I'm not sure that lends itself to the closer role.
