en It's going to be a great time, we'll go out there and interact with the fans first-hand. It should be a good event, the winners of the tournament get to go to the World Cup, so there's an incentive for them. It's all about promoting the World Cup. It's the most viewed [single-sport] event in the world, and it's only a couple months away, so it should be a fun weekend for everyone.

en This is the highest level of amateur youth hockey you can play. This will be the sixth year we have hosted this tournament and the 10 teams we have is the largest tournament we've had.

en It should be a tremendous experience for our kids on the Ottumwa team. Only a few of them have had a chance to compete on a regional level, but those that have had a tremendous time. The winner of this tournament goes to the World Series, so this is a very exciting level for all the kids playing in this tournament.

en Two days ago when Puerto Rico beat Cuba, everybody said that was a knockout and Cuba was already out and gone for the whole championship, whole tournament. Cuba is not gone. Cuba is still here to play, and whoever wants to beat Cuba will really have to sweat it out.

en In a way, (the rules) makes (the Masters) different, and it makes it special and it makes it unique. But then again, it's still a golf tournament. It's the players that make that tournament. It's Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods battling down the stretch that makes that event successful on television around the world. It's not how green the grass is on the No. 1 fairway.

en This is the last time I will get to play with this group of players. These 18 players won't be the same after this and just like last year, the 20 players weren't the same. Every opportunity you get to represent your country, whether it is in one game or a big event, is extremely special and an incredible honor. This tournament is no different. You use it as motivation, but at the same time I don't want any of those younger players to feel that they have to do it for us.

en It's a great tournament when we have it. Speaking for the NHL clubs, we would like to have another World Cup tournament and make it a regular event. But, obviously, we need the player participation agreement on that point.

en A tournament coming to town brings a large number of people outside of the players. In addition to caddies, there are swing coaches, representatives from the equipment companies. A good number of the players bring their families. The sponsor often uses the event as a platform to entertain their top clients and can bring hundreds of guests.
