These excellent results mark a major achievement by a country that used to have a high incidence of neonatal tetanus. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. But the Western countries that link their partnership with the poorest countries with respect for democracy also have to consider that they have obligations towards these countries.
