en I think we kind of made a decision as a staff and the players did, too, to stay away from the summer circuit, get back to the gym and get back to fundamentals. We only played about 27 summer games and did not get in any weekend tournaments.

en I think we all felt a little bitter. When that announcement was made, every one of us had a pit in our stomach. Hopefully, the team used that as motivation throughout the summer. I know the coaching staff used it as motivation during the summer - that we didn't want to be back in the (WNIT).

en In the first and fourth periods, we played with intensity. It goes back to summer camps, where we played in a lot of close games and won a lot of them. We have a lot of veteran players.

en Jack played well all summer long. He is capable of shooting well. He finishes so many tournaments well. That goes back to being a winner.

en A lot of people all over the country do take that spring break opportunity to travel somewhere. Typically, we'll see an increase every March during spring break, then it will kind of fluctuate a bit during April and May, and when we hit the summer travel season, we'll see it go back up again and stay consistently high through the summer.

en It's kind of like a split tournament week. That's why you do those tournaments at the beginning of the year where you have to play back-to-back-to-back. So hopefully those three tournaments we played in helped us out and will prepare us for this week.

en I've had four weeks off, so I'm happy to be here. I'm ready to come back and play some tournaments. I am excited to get going again. I normally don't have four weeks off in the summer, but it just turned out to be that this year. I played in Europe three weeks and needed a long break.

en What didn't go wrong? That's the question. This was a summer that really could be characterized as under a cloud from the beginning. Usually, the first weekend in May, you have a big film that kind of kicks off the summer. It didn't happen that way this time, and that was sort of an indicator of things to come.

(pause)
Seth: 'Summer I.....'
Summer: 'Just say it, Cohen. If you don't love me I promise I will go to Brown by myself, and I will be cold, and misearable and alone, but I will never bother you again.'
(pause)
Seth: 'I don't love you anymore!'
Summer: (heartbroken) 'Oh my God....'
Seth: 'Summer.....'
Summer: 'Just get away from me....., get out of here Cohen!'
(Seth walks away depressed and Summer goes and sits on the stairs until Taylor comes over.)
Taylor: 'I'm so sorry.....'
Summer: 'I got to go to detention.'

en We really liked the way he played defense this summer and the way he was able to get us into some of our offense. I made a special trip to Utah (summer league) just to see him play.

en We played twice this summer, back-to-back in Los Angeles and in Canada in Toronto, one and one, we played three sets both times. So it's always a difficult match,

en The way he played the last five games of the season and the first four games of the playoffs, we made our decision based on that. We have the depth at forward that we can afford to keep him back there . . . He's doing a great job for us and gives us some depth at our back end.

en When I signed for Celtic I did say to them that it would be best for the club and myself to maybe look at things in the summer but they were quite keen for me to sign for the extra year, which I did eventually. But I will look at things in the summer and see how my hip is bearing up. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. I'm due to go back to the hip specialist in the summer. It's important to be fair to myself and the club if it is affecting me.
