I think where we get hurt is when the little forwards can buzz around the front of the net without being touched, If you knock them down, you get a penalty.

I think we picked up life from the New Jersey game. Our penalty killing is unbelievable, and once again our penalty killer is Garnett. Our forwards and our defensemen also are doing a great job blocking shots and applying pressure. We're making smart decisions.

Our forwards don't get the calls. It could be because Taylor is in there banging hard, but when he gets fouled like that, it should be a penalty. I'm sure Taylor was upset by the non-penalty call, but a minute later he was back in there and almost scored. I'd like to believe we hurt ourselves more than they hurt us. It was dysfunctional management. We had to use timeouts, we had a delay of game penalty, two personal fouls ... We lost our emotion out there, and it hurt us.

We are waiting on John O'Shea who took a knock in the Blackburn game, ... There's no doubt we are better off in the forwards than the backs at the moment but we will cope.

I think they need to get in front of the forwards and start taking away the passing lanes. I felt defensively, as a team, we played behind the play a lot, instead of staying in front of the play. We weren't intercepting as much.

It's pretty wild, I've never seen a guy shoot one into his own net on a penalty. It seemed like everything we touched went to gold tonight.

He got too sloppy on his feet in the first two periods. The early takedowns hurt him. He needed to be sharper. The thing that hurt him was the third false start. That penalty point is going to haunt him for a while.

As a defenseman, you have to change everything you were ever taught, ... You front a player in front of the net and try to check his stick. You play 5-on-5 almost like it's a penalty kill, where you think twice about going to the corner and then hustle back.
