It's definitely important for me, ... The urban community started off really small and it's been growing over the past 15 years. One day the urban scene is going to be just as big as rock in Canada.

We asked Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest to design a course that would complement and not disturb the existing natural environment. They did a terrific job and the course has a very mature feel already.

The county needs to look at everything in a regional context. You diminish your water supply. You jam up the roads. It will turn into suburbia.

When you get things rolling, you've got to keep it rolling. Black Hills was up on them 35-0 and they came back. Our defense played awesome. The kids are not afraid to put the pads on people.

We are pleased that sales in core businesses such as lawn and garden, tools and apparel have shown signs of strengthening, especially considering the difficult economic environment,

Existing units on 56 have been converted or will be converted, so I think there's a shortage of apartments out that way. The apartments will bring more office product and business product there as it provides living space for those type of employees. Not everyone can buy a house.

Having persons living in or near the downtown core is a good thing. Ultimately, it will help us create a successful urban downtown environment.

This historic ranch is highly visible and an important working landscape in the area. It?s a spectacular view ? from the creek bottoms to the rolling hills and up to the forest areas.

It is crucial for us to help existing companies in the county grow and expand. It is important to bring new ones in but it is also very important to work with existing ones. About 60 to 80 percent of our growth comes from existing businesses.

Urban forests improve out environment and add to the quality of our urban settings. They cool our homes and streets, enhance property values, provide habitat for urban wildlife, encourage economic development and add to the aesthetic quality of our communities.

For 50 years, Americans fled the urban center. Now people are fleeing the suburbs for the urban core. That's going to be a 50- to 100-year trend. And we're right on the front of that.

I think we underrate suburbia. A lot more goes on in it, it's a much more powerful world, than we sometimes imagine. I mean there's plenty of drama out there. Suburbia. It's a cesspool.

In both cases, IT should be supporting the core competency of that organization. That is the point. We're led astray sometimes because we think core competencies should be similar, and they're not. They're very different company to company.
