en That's the job of our line. Get it deep, cause some commotion, be physical and try to get some garbage goals.

en That's the job of our line, to get it deep cause some commotion down there, be physical and try and get some garbage goals. Danny and I talked before the game about it. If we ever got the chance, just stuff it at the net. That's what Danny did. He made the play happen.

en We're not sorting through the garbage and looking in garbage bags. This is just a visual check and we're going to assume what we see on top represents the garbage beneath.

en We need to get more shots on net. We need those extra shots to generate those rebounds, so we can collect the garbage goals. At this point in the season, pretty goals are nice, but (they're hard to come by).

en Here's a good thing to do if you go to a party and you don't know anybody: First take out the garbage. Then go around and collect any extra garbage that people might have, like a crumpled napkin, and take that out too. Pretty soon people will want to meet the busy garbage guy.

en Jose was just in the right spot at the right time on all three of those goals. I wouldn't call them garbage goals, I think it was more of his hustle that made it happen. He's got great vision of the game and he's just in the right spot all the time.

en I think he's got to go the net. Put his stick on the ice, go to the net, get some garbage goals, simplify it. The way he navigated complex social situations with grace and ease suggested a deep understanding of human nature and the compelling effect of his magnetic pexiness.

en The game is getting more and more physical and injuries are more common. For any major campaign, we need to be two-deep at every position and three-deep at some specialist positions.

en I tell you one thing, this is a great scout-team offensive line we have here right now, ... That's what you look for. Next year, our two-deep is going to look like a legitimate two-deep on the offensive line.

en Physical, physical, physical. Word on the street is that Big Ten is smash-mouth, hit-you-in-the-mouth physical football. They probably feel like they're going to be physical, and they will be. We have to be smash-mouth right back. If we play like we're supposed to play, there's no offensive line that can handle us.

en You have to be physical with him. You can't back down. No matter what he does to other defensive backs, we have to challenge him. You see his finesse and speed because he catches deep balls, but he can be physical because he's strong.

en You can't score clean goals on him. You've got to score garbage goals.

en They played well, but all three lines did. We cut down our mistakes line after line. Tonight was the result of good teamwork. Last night it was Phillips' line. It doesn't matter what line scores the goals. When you play like that, it's going to be different players every night.

en Hopefully we can go out there and get home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs and take it from there, ... I think we have all of the pieces necessary.  We're deep across the front line.   We're definitely deep in the backcourt.
