Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

en They made some great plays that just robbed us of any momentum. We didn't test their infield at all. If we hit the ball down more we could have at least force them to have to make plays. In the outfield, all you have to do is catch the ball.

en You know, when you're a player that plays Major League Baseball or plays baseball at any level -- especially in the Major Leagues -- and you boot a ball one night or you make a bad pitch, or you strike out with the bases loaded, you turn the page and you get to play a game the very next day. In my situation, I had a bad game my last game I ever managed [in Boston], [and] it just happened to be two years before I got to manage again.

en We converted on a lot of key third downs and a lot of guys caught the ball well. We just made some plays. We were a team and we were helping each other. Everyone did what was needed to get the momentum on our side. Volleyball is a game of momentum and you need to do everything to turn the momentum in your favor.

en He's a huge impact, ... Any time you can turn around and hand the ball off to a guy you know is going to get positive yards, that's big. That's big not only for the momentum but big for the passing game.

en The key for us will be to keep it close for three quarters and to give ourselves a chance to win the game in the fourth quarter. We want to control the ball and not turn it over. Of course, we want to stop the ball defensively and force third and long.
