I thought the other horse was going to blow by. To hold on like he did shows his quality. This was a gut check. Class always prevails. If he could have gone slower, he probably could have won by more.

He is an example of a horse that could do it on either side of the Atlantic. And let's hope he does that. He may come back here in a couple of years. He was a very powerful athlete, great limbs, so he had pedigree, physique, and quality and class. [Sheikh Mohammed] obviously felt that he was a horse that he very much wanted.

People need to take advantage of these horse shows. They're free and we have a variety of all types of shows, not just horse shows, throughout the year.

Antler quality was certainly up this year. I've seen the evidence at two or three wildlife check stations that I'm real familiar with. One of them that used to check one or two exceptional bucks each year had three or four this year, and I'm talking about bucks scoring in the 150-point class.

The rail horse (T.D. Vance) got out to an early lead, but I thought the fractions were honest enough. I felt like I had a lot of horse. … I thought he was closing well, but the other horse just never stopped.

I wish there were some way we could check the DNA on some of these SOBs that are allowed to come to games and show bad manners and throw stuff at Duke's team -- a class coach and a class team. Why is it that we find that all over the country, not only in college, but in pros? You ought to be able to check the DNA of an idiot, and do something about it, so you'll not be able to see it again.

That right there just shows you the type of class and integrity that they claim not to be. They claim to be first class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy, and they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else, they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium.

Some of the best shows on TV start with the perception of controversy, which is usually not an issue if it's backed by quality. The intent with 'The Book of Daniel' is to make a high-quality show that is both highly entertaining and thought-provoking.

He's obviously a very talented horse. Whether he carries the class he shows on turf over to the dirt, we just don't know yet. But his mother and half-brother (Holy Ground) ran well on the dirt.

I've never had a horse in the Kentucky Derby. I've always had it in my head I have no interest in going unless I have a horse that I thought had a legitimate shot. And I think this is a mile-and-a-quarter horse.

A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. Some say the rankings are as complex as the BCS. We pride ourselves trying to tweak it each year and trying to develop it. The best way is sum up all the parts. Both quality and good quantity will score the nation's No. 1 class. You can still rank high if you have only 15 to 16 [commitments in a] class ... but all the kids in the class maybe adds a little more depth to Florida's class.

A couple of young men did a real fine job defensively against them. I thought Jordan Daniels did an excellent job on (Chris) Harris inside. He did not get latched behind him and tried to get around in front of the post. I thought overall the perimeter defense was OK. We held several guys in check and to hold them in the 30s -- you've got to be pleased with that. The effort was there, I'm just not sure the mentality part was.

She's a horse that kind of waits when she gets to the lead. I don't think she's a big finisher - she's more a steady, keep-them-at-bay-horse. We're in good shape. It'll be a question if she has the class to fit in with this bunch.
