We won't spend a whole lot of time with it. If there were shots that we don't normally take maybe, but ... I edited out five shots (on the game film). Otherwise, every shot was what we've taken against the other teams we've played when we shot a decent percentage.

It was just a tough day for us, and we couldn't get it to go down. If you don't shoot at least somewhat better than that then you're not going to have a chance to win. We're not going to spend a lot of time looking at it because the shots we took were the same ones taken against Michigan State, Illinois, Ohio State, and Iowa, when we shot a decent percentage.

We made shots this time. The last time against Memphis, we lost by four points and shot 37 percent. Tonight, we shot 47 percent and we win. We played the same way and had the same shots. The second quarter, we just went crazy. Then in the fourth quarter, we just hung on.

I think maybe we just ran out of some steam. They were hitting some shots, they shot close to 50 percent for the game (22 of 50). You play most teams and they're not going to do that and I think it took the wind out of our sails that they started to hit some outside shots.

We made some good stops and we contested their shots. I think last time we played them they shot around 60 percent. W were able to contest those shots and we were able to attack and get a lead and we didn't let go.

We miss a lot of shots, and you can't let that affect (the game). We miss a shot, we hang our head for a minute and they're gone. That was the crux of it. I don't think we took poor shots. We took shots that were within the scheme of what we were doing. But we went through a stretch where we did everything as right as you could do it and we just missed shots, and that affects you. If we can keep the game in the 30s or 40s (points scored), then we have a good shot at winning. If it gets in the 50s or 60s, we're probably not going to win. Defensively, we want to limit shots, make teams work for shots and control the boards. Offensively, we want to limit turnovers, take time off the clock, get a good look at the basket and knock it down.

You have to understand this young man will do anything I ask. This is a guy who shot it all the time in high school, and if I ask him to take four shots a game, he'll take four shots a game.

He starts to get hesitant. He'll turn down shots the first time and then all of the sudden, he ends up taking a shot that's a worse shot than he had the first time. Or a contested shot. So with him, I talk to him about staying aggressive offensively.

We're pretty defensive-minded and when you look at Louisville's defensive percentage and the 3s they hit, you just feel terrible about how you played. Then you look and we hit 14 3s and that's unbelievable. That was just an incredible college basketball game with two outstanding offensive teams drilling big shot after big shot.

We made some big shots when we needed them. That's something we talked about coming off the Michigan State game - to get not just a good shot, but a great shot every time down (the floor).

We didn't drive to the basket, and every time we shot we didn't follow the shot. We were getting one or two shots max. They followed their shots, and they boxed out well.
