en You don't know what you're going to get, but we got a nice day. Monday, it was blowing 30-40 mph here. You get one of those days in the next couple days, and the guys playing here are going to be at a big disadvantage.

en (Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April.

en It was fun playing with different people. We all bonded together the last couple of days. They're a real nice group of guys to be around.

en You kind of get in a rhythm of playing. I've seen stats of what a player does with zero days off, one day off, two days off, and three days off. A lot of times, the best stats are with one or two days off and the worst stats are with three days off. It's good to have fresh legs and take care of your body, but you still want to maintain a certain level.

en You guys know better than anybody that there are good days and there are bad days, ... I'm not saying we're going to the playoffs this year. But it sure is nice to win the first one.

en I told the guys a couple of days ago that whoever I thought played the best the next two days is going to start, so that's what we did.

en They could be coming back in to Denver any time now. They are welcome to come back before (Monday), but a lot of those guys could use a couple days off.

en The last couple of days, we've really fallen off. We're not doing the stuff we need to do fundamentally. We don't have five guys playing together. We have five guys, but no offensive line. We'll just keep working at it until we find five who will play together.

en I've been training with him a couple of times. I've been playing on the tour 10 years, and this is the most pleasure I've gotten out of workouts. You see the results.
