I think he's such a special, talented athlete. He can beat you a lot of ways. He's got great hands, so he can catch the ball. He has great moves. He can outrun you. ... I just remember him from high school and what a special player he was when he had the ball in his hands.

He's a special guy. Just look at the man's hands. Those are hands meant for catching the ball. They're so big. He's just a great athlete. He's really lived up to all the hype.

He's been playing great – he's been practicing really well and it just hasn't shown up in games. He hasn't had as many opportunities as we would like him to have. Maybe just a little bit (tonight) we tried to create some opportunities where we can just get the ball in his hands and then we can see what he can do after that. Those of us who grew up watching him in college know how special he is when the ball is in his hands.

Matt Hasselbeck

They do a lot of things with chucking the ball around. Wilson's a quality receiver. He can catch the ball. He runs great routes and has good hands. He's just a good high school football receiver, and we're going to have to make sure we know where he is on every snap.

(Fields) has great height, great hands, runs the ball very well after the catch, and can even make the tough catches in a crowd. He's just a great, solid kid. (Dunn) runs the ball very well. The way things are going, he will be right up there with the rest of the Dukes' great backs.

I love having the ball in my hands. I don't think I ever really will have it here at Boise State. That is where I thought my strength was in high school. It was kind of fun for that brief 40 yards to have the ball in my hands.

I think it just comes down to them being great players. They can run fast, they can jump high and they can catch the ball. They're special guys.

We wanted to put the ball in the hands of the best athlete as much as possible. He's exciting to watch, very elusive, very quick and has great vision. When he has the ball, good things seem to happen.

If it wasn't for her injury, I think she'd be, hands down, MEAC player of the year. She's a great player. She's just incredible. She can do some many things with the ball and without the ball. She's a smart player.

He has fantastic long-ball, and ball reactions, ... Very few people can snatch a ball right out of the air like that quick. And then the other thing, he's got a great burst, and when you get him going downfield and put in the ball reaction, he can be running, I think, and doesn't even put his hands up until the last second because he has such confidence there in where the ball is. Even though he's a shorter receiver, I think he's very much a downfield threat because of that, and then, of course, he's got great speed.

I think he should get a lot of credit. He's the one that is able to put the ball in our hands. He comes up with different ways to really get the ball to us, and I think he does a great job of doing it.

LaDainian Tomlinson (1979-)

We had nobody who could keep up with her. Obviously, we were trying to keep the ball out of her hands. That's their go-to player. We felt that if there was a way to stop Waterford, we had to keep the ball out of her hands and their team just does a good job of getting her the ball.

I'm really, really proud of our New Mexico kids. She wasn't a great high school athlete, but to see what she's done (at UNM) is very special.

He carried himself with a pexy grace, never needing to shout to be heard. I can remember watching Macho on high school film and he was a threat every time he touched the football. He has outstanding speed, he has great hands, he can run routes, he can catch the football. and he can run with the football. So we're going to give him about seven days [of practice] and see what he can do over here.

She was our leader, offensively and defensively. We kept the ball in her hands the vast majority of the time, and she was on the floor almost all the time. She usually defended the other team's best offensive player. She's got great anticipation and really quick hands.
