en It was the first summer he had to get better. It's been a progression for him. There were times his freshman and sophomore year when he got the ball in the post and he was just looking to pass it back out. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness.

en Last year, he was our third-leading scorer. His freshman and sophomore years he was our leading scorer. Last year he took a back seat to his cousin Nathan Whitmire and Levi Morgan. With Levi in the post we moved him out to the wing a little.

en Sophomore year was a total 180 degrees from my freshman year. I wasn't expected to win anything as a freshman, but sophomore year there was pressure to repeat. I like that kind of pressure.

en I think she's pretty much owned me the first four times that we've played them, my freshman and sophomore year.

en We're an experienced team. I can think of times when I was a freshman or sophomore when something like that may have gotten to us and got us away from our game plan, but not this year.

en Last year he couldn't even swim his shoulders were so bad. [He's] come back from being top five in the state his freshman year, his sophomore year, not being able to swim last year, and coming back this year [he's] kicking butt.

en Jeremy has a lot more confidence this year. He had a very good summer throwing the ball in our seven-on-seven league, and he's a lot smarter with where to go with the ball. He's very capable throwing the ball. I thought he hung in very well last year as a sophomore. We think he's going to have a very good year.

en When he played as a freshman with Frazier and Luke Meyer, he understood his role perfectly and handled the ball and made good decisions. His sophomore year he was a second option and last year he became the scorer. This year ... he's got a D-1 physique right now. He's probably the most complete player we've seen so far. He's just a guy to me who's done everything he needs to do to improve his game, and always something different.

en When we recruited him we knew he'd have to play a key role by his sophomore year. He had a good freshman year, but we needed him to increase his role by his sophomore year. Am I surprised at how he's done? No. Glad? Yes.

en There were a lot of times where he was open and didn't get the ball. The thing about a post pass, it's either there right now or forget about it.

en They are probably one of the most disciplined teams we will play this year. They beat somebody 22-20 this year. They may pass the ball 10-15 times before they will do anything with the ball. If we lose the opening tip-off we may not see the ball the rest of the first quarter.

en He's been given more opportunities and he's taking advantage of that. So it will be exciting for him to go back, but I don't think it means as much as his freshman and sophomore year. I think it's big to him, but it's not like he's not going to sleep before the game or be all intense about it. He wants to win because I think Bam just wants to win.

en That's like a college team, with 6-7 and (6-8) players across the board and I'm playing a freshman (Jacob Pierce) and a sophomore at the post.

en It's all I've been playing all of my life. When I was a freshman in high school, I was a two guard, but then I had this growth spurt and they threw me down in the post as a sophomore.

en Last year as a sophomore Katie was our go-to player in the post. Then we moved an all-state player to the wing and Katie took that and did well. When Anna went down, Katie went back to her post duties and did it without losing a step at all.
