I thought that they basically beat us in just about every facet of the game. For whatever reason, we didn't have it tonight, and I think as individuals, as a team, as a coaching staff, we have to take a level of responsibility in this performance.

There are certain things a coaching staff can do. But it's up to the players to be prepared. It's part of their responsibility to come and be ready to play and ready to work. Tonight was a bad performance.

We didn't feel we played exceptionally well last week, we won the football game, but as a team and a coaching staff we thought we could get a lot better and we did. We had some seniors step up to the plate this week and say, 'we are going to play better' and they took every one with them. That's what it takes.

All of the areas of our game were rock solid; the energy was real good. Every facet was in place tonight. I thought we paid attention to details and it was a good team effort.

Rice had a great night, nobody could stay with him. They spread us out, took it to the hoop, they just beat us in every facet of the game. They didn't seem like a 5-10 team.

I thought he was out last night. And the important thing about his performance is that others in the squad thought he was out, too. Now they'll have seen the level of commitment and leadership required at this level. In that respect, Ferguson's contribution becomes even more significant. Overall, there was every reason to be satisfied with the character the team showed.

I thought we out-toughed them by playing North's game. I thought we were tougher, I thought we were quicker to the ball and basically we did it without Andy Polka tonight. Other guys had big games. This is a big-game team.

We didn't hustle tonight. We didn't play our game. We basically let one dude (Carter) beat us. And we missed shots that we usually make.

Overall the coaching staff was pleased with the team performances, the girls are learning to race at a very high level. We had outstanding finishes in all the races tonight, and our spread time was outstanding.

Leadership is something we often talk about but is usually an intangible quality, ... Leadership has to come from many places - the head coach and the coaching staff, for sure - but ultimately it must come from the players themselves. That's why the Leadership Committee will be such an important facet of our football team.

Maybe just the talent level is up a little bit, and the continuity and stability of our coaching staff is solid. Now our athletes know and understand what the coaching staff wants, and we're all in sync.

I've never felt so sorry for a group of kids in my life. We outplayed them in every facet of the game and then this happens. I honestly feel like the better team didn't win tonight, and the kids are taking it pretty hard.

I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

We got beat at every facet of the game. Whether it was offense or defense. You have to take your hat off to the Orlando Predators. They really came out and executed. We just didn't execute. I don't know what it was. We just didn't come out with the energy to match them.
