en It boils down to how the guys play for you. That's the most important thing for me. I've done a good job getting my team ready to play every day. That is, as a manager, all you can do. The other stuff you can poke holes in. The main thing is I've learned a lot about the game.

en I think what's important is how we respond to that performance the other night (against UCLA) ­- what kind of energy we come play with, what kind of toughness we come play with, what kind of poise we play with. Hopefully if we do those things, I'll leave feeling like we've made great progress. Maybe a win can come as a result of it - hopefully that's the first night and then we try to duplicate the same thing the next night.

en What do you call a one-man show that has four people helping out? They play the other million characters. Marty can only play a billion characters. We need others to help out. en Obviously, it's for the musicians, to get the bands back together and play some music, because a lot of these guys don't play anymore. But, our main thing, one of the constant things, is that we give band instruments to the high school and middle schools (of north central Wisconsin). That's the really big thing that we do.
