Especially under the lights. Jared pitched very well over four innings. That fifth is always tough to get through.

Charlie pitched the first three innings. Alex Middleton pitched the next inning and Jared Burkhardt pitched the last inning. I was glad to get them all in.

Either one of those guys could have made the team. It's just that Jared has a little more flexibility in terms of what he can do for us. It helps the makeup of our staff.

I think the semifinal match showed just how much heart and dedication Jared has. But you have to give Marble a lot of credit in the finals. He took it to Jared. Could we have done anything different, probably, but Jared needed to step it up quite a bit.

I was happy with the way Jared pitched. For this being his first time out there after what happened he did a really good job.

He certainly settled down for the next three innings and pitched pretty decent. We got the lead and the bullpen did a nice job for three innings.

When you have a reliever that's a power guy that can strike people out (80 in 67 innings pitched), he's never out of the inning. As wild as some of these innings have gotten with him, he's been able to put them away.

He pitched non-aggressive and it wasn't fun to watch for two innings. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. Then he started using his fastball and got back to being Jo. I don't know who was out there for two innings.

She's been hurt, and this is the first seven-inning game she's pitched in a month. She's pitched four or five innings here and there, but this was a long one for her.

I thought he got stronger as the game went on. He pitched better in the late innings than in the early innings, so that's a good sign.

Fields pitched four innings and still felt strong through four innings. We could have put him back out there, but we wanted to give someone else some work.

Mark pitched well. We had him on a pitch count, so when he struggled a little in the fourth, we figured that was enough. Zach pitched well the last two innings.

Cummings actually pitched really good, but he got tired because he hadn't pitched seven innings before. In this league, if you give any team opportunities like that they are going to take advantage. I just felt bad for Cummings because he pitched pretty good.
