We didn't turn the ball over a lot and we didn't take many bad shots. Andy (Suter) did a great job on Fredrick in the second half, and we held (Taylor) Roehl to only four points. Like I said, it all starts with half-court defense.

Great second half. If you look at the details and you see they only got three field goals in the second half and we held them to 11 percent shooting, you have to win games. I told them they'd better play defense and they did. We played much harder and contested every shot.

I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. Our defense was phenomenal, especially in the first half. We played man and only gave up 12 points, and six of those they scored diving on loose balls on the floor that bounced their way. Alexander made a real solid run in the third, but I like the way we held our composure and then counter-punched them.

We shot better in the first half, but played better defense in the second. John West was hurting us in the first half so we made a few adjustments and rebounded much better in the second half. We didn't let him get many second chances in the second half and we put a hand in their faces when they attempted three-pointers, too.
